Without an active plan the terminal will not join the network. This page lists the real Starlink plans plus StarPing’s account-management fee. Renewal is manual each month — you can buy service only, even if you already own a kit.

- Fixed home use is usually Residential; travel is Roam; business is Local Priority; sea is Maritime or Global. A mismatch can suspend service.
